Have you ever planned a meeting or event for your company or association and wondered at the end of it if you should leave a tip for those at the hotel or venue who worked so hard to ensure the success of your event?
I’m here to tell you that, YES, you absolutely should!
Tipping for exemplary service at a hotel or venue after a meeting or event is VERY common and, after all, why shouldn’t you tip for great service after a successful event?
In our culture it’s common to tip for great service for everything from your coffee barista to your happy hour bartender to your barber to your hairdresser. It’s also common in the hospitality industry for taxi drivers, bellmen, the hotel concierge, etc., so tipping professional meeting service personnel is no different.
To help you navigate the in’s and out’s of tipping your service personnel at your next meeting or event, check out my FREE resource: Tipping Guide for Meetings and Events
What tipping ‘tips’ do you live by? What other meeting planning topics would you like to see as a guide or resource in my toolbox? I’d love to hear from you! Call or write to 913-645-6649 or missy@mjmeetings.com.
